Very convincing. Makes me completely want to put myself under government control. Please take me to where you can make me unconscious and naked.

It's my understanding that many multinational companies have their European headquarters in Dublin to avoid paying higher taxes.

Oh, so there's still a strong market for rentals, despite the recession. Huh.

In non-flea-neurosis-about-the-future news, I give you a blog of things students have allegedly written in papers. None of them have surprised me yet (i.e. strike me as being made up). There are some great examples of how spellcheck is not your friend. [link]

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Those are hilarious, flea.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I heard a whole thing on the radio about how companies set up affiliates or whatever in Ireland and also Bermuda to save on US taxes. It all sounded very complicated.

Am I wrong to be increasingly annoyed at people who invite me to things via my parents?

Supes is TOTALLY a big old bottom.

This. Because I can see Supes wanting to be responsible for a while.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Daww, I just went to open a new document, 20110409, and instead opened up 20011004...the newsletter from the year we'd started. I stared at it for a good twenty seconds, baffled by the old font, the old style of writing, before I read the text, all, "Well, we're so excited to be starting out!" Ten years in business, y'all, how is that possible?

Because books.

Ten years in business, y'all, how is that possible?

Dedication and a lot of work, I imagine. That's very cool.

I had a very healthy dinner! A big salad with red onion, gorgozola, diced chicken, and raspberry walnut vinaigrette.

I'm sure this merits cake for dessert, right?

Thank you, erika! If I lived with them, I could see it, but I don't! Bleh.

Nice work, Liese! Ten years is Something.

Hell, no.

I have too much to do, and I'm not getting it done. Argh.
