All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

These [link] are more fun, but I rarely wear heels and I need new everyday type boots.

His wife, actually. Atta girl.

Oh, those are great! But, yeah, that's a highish heel. But so cute!

Tommy, that's a great first date! Yay to long distance relationships!

Cass, what on earth happened? Did I miss the explanation?

See, I would vote red, but apparently I'm in the minority here.

Enjoying my new roomie--I introduced her to the giant Asian supermarket here (Uwajimaya) and we bought ingredients and made stirfry and watched The Good Wife together. Yay.

...why does Monday keep coming around?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

A good roommate is gold.

Huh. I am no longer appalled. Now I am amused. A fan would be iky to me but marital? Heh.

I had a toilet clog and overflow and ugh. Towels are in the dryer now and I've gotten mostly over the blech. Ugh.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh Cass, that sucks. While I am still (and will be until late October) dealing with the repairs from my house flood, the one thing I am so grateful for is that it was clean water.

Tommy, that all sounds terrific and very promising!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay for good first date, tommyrot!

We had marital date night, which consists of Northern Exposure and lemon frozen yogurt and popcorn. Which may not be much, but is totally awesome to us.

Tomorrow we're back into the fray and the travel may be pretty crazy. Temps start dropping this week. I can't believe we're out of nighttime window opening season and into woodstove tending season. But we've got our first cord of oak in, split and stacked already, so I guess we're ready. I'd like to get the chimney swept and replace the missing airflow tube positioning pins. But that's just details. Anyway, I hope the roads are dry enough to travel tomorrow. Afternoon rain expected, so if we can get it done, we'll be ok.

Tommy! I'm so happy for you! What an awesome date. I'm grinning like a loon thinking about it.

Blech, Cass, I hate when that happens. Glad that it is in the past.
