Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Is there a HouseOfReason relocation vote?

Open Lightbulbs.

Ha!

NO RELOCATING JILLI.

Plei, you are one of the compelling reasons NOT to move to L.A.

I get chicken and waffles for lunch tomorrow!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

YES. NO RELOCATING JILLI.

From a practical standpoint, L.A. is a good idea for us. More work opportunities for Pete, way more networking opportunities for me in terms of GCS world domination.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I took a leisurely constitional to the library and brought back CATCHING FIRE, which should be interesting.

Just as the new fall season shows are starting up, the interlibrary loan system coughed up JUSTIFIED S1 for me. Three episodes in, I'm enjoying it but am not in love. It's got well-made all over it but yet... I think I'm resisting in part because all the women look alike. I don't think there's been one with a speaking role over 35 years of age.

Trust my rage

Theo, Justified took me a while to get into. In fact, I watched the first few, quit, and then started watching again after lots of good comments from people here.

Because books.

S2 of Justified is also miles and miles better than S1, not that I didn't love S1, too. But S2 has a much more personal and compelling through line.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think there's been one with a speaking role over 35 years of age.

Did you watch this year's Emmys?

No -- was there somebody from Justified on it?

Yes. She was over 35 and an amazing character. But she doesn't show up until S2, right?
