I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Is this where I mention the lobbying from Certain People to get us to move to L.A.? I feel like it is.

(Which I have to admit, is a much more tempting idea then I would have first thought.)

Except The Orb lives in L.A. I didn't think you got along with The Orb.

I don't get along with The Orb, but with enough sunblock and parasols, I can cope. And weirdly, the heat here in L.A. is nowhere near as annoying as lower temps in Seattle. That humidity thing does make a difference.

Plus, a far more active Goth scene around here.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just got back from spending wey too much money at Costco and Target. Most of it was the firm's, but not all, because I was buying stuff for Hawaii and then I saw Cold Kiss at Target and I had forgotten my phone, so I couldn't take a picture of it, so I had to buy it instead.

Have I mentioned I'm not very good with money?

Because books.

Aw! My mom went to Target today, and there were only two left! So frigging exciting. And she even bought one! That's three for Mom and Dad, for those playing along at home. Big dummies. I have a whole box here!

And you're going to sign one and send it to me, right?

That way I can give away my copies, especially since I have an ebook copy too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister has rediscovered rugby, so I stopped on it when I was channel surfing, and caught myself a haka. Always pleasant.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe
