Jayne: What're you gonna tell the others? Mal: About what? Jayne: About why I'm dead. Mal: Hadn't thought about it. Jayne: Make something up. Don't tell 'em what I did.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

On Demand, sorry.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

American Horror looks like three steps beyond American Gothic (anyone remember that show? with Gary Cole and Paige Turco?)

Summun's at the door!

Because books.

As soon as I posted that, I figured it was either recorded or something like that, Jesse. But Bravo or somewhere it also showing it, I think.

We get some weird "horror" channel called Chiller -- they show Twilight Zone and Outer Limits and Masters of Horror and sometimes Buffy and movies. And they ran American Gothic a few months back, and it had been forever since I saw it.

I'd love to see the remake of Dark Shadows, too, just for a hoot.

This is so bad, but added bonus if I hire this guy for the work, for which I want to watch what he's doing so I can learn something? He's SO PRETTY.

And really nice, too, which makes him all the more attractive. His banter with the five year old was awesome, and then he scooped up MK and told me about his friends' elderly pets. T knows how to pick 'em. Hell, he's probably younger than me, and she's older than I. If only he gets enough work in the next few weeks, we could convince him to stay & I could get myself a handyman-husband... But he's a fisherman by trade and passion, usually does construction in the off-season, but has an opportunity down in warmer waters this winter. FIE.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

sarameg, so you're totally going to boff this guy, right? Right?

Aw, I want On Demand!

I'm catching up on my TiVo'd stuff--Good Wife and Grey's. Love that there is a scene here with THREE WOMEN (talking about law)! Yay, passing the Bechdel test.

Jesse, that sucks about moving.

No, he's T's boytoy. Would be more, I suspect, but for the itinerancy of his chosen profession.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And Gmail Account is back. Bless friends who lend me their laptop for a few minutes.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am thinking about sending some $$ toward the Occupy Wall Street movement, but I want it to go to a legit charity/organization who is helping out with food and basic needs of the protestors. Does anyone have information about where I could send funds from a distant state?

Thrive to spite them

le nubian -- Crooks and Liars has been raising money for pizzas for protesters. There's information here - [link] and also here - [link] (scroll down to the end).
