The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I sent off an email to them, but I don't see any way to do more in terms of contacting them.

I created a new account, but I have so many documents and other items under the old account it makes my head hurt to think about losing access.

Speaking of which-can someone in the round robin nail polish exchange see if they can access the list? I'm not sure what is going to happen with that, since it was created under the disabled account.

Because books.

Jesus. I can't access it, Perkins.

That's frigging terrifying.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Me neither. Suck!

But it does remind me to do my nails.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We're back from Matilda's birthday party in the park. Low key: cakes, pizza, balloons and entertainment by Emmett. Ten kids, twelve parents, carousel rides. Only one instance of tears (twisted ankle from jumping off playground equipment).

Matilda was well behaved and pretty gracious as a five year old host. Hugging everybody goodbye and being patient. Her friend Joshua came; he was her hug buddy in preschool but goes to a new kindergarten now. He drew her a card with them holding hands with little hearts all over it.

Teacher Helen - also from the preschool, but also now gone - showed up and was treated like a rock star by the assembled kinderklatsch.

Yep, I just posted there using my backup email. I don't know if it's going to do much though, especially on the weekend.

BTW, because I was anxious to be helpful I forgot to say that this truly sucks.

Wow--I just got the account restored.

Whew.

I know I should still be irritated it happened at all, but I'm mostly just relieved, and a little impressed.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Any lessons for the rest of us? Why disabled? How did you get restored?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm impressed, too. Glad you got it worked out so quickly.
