Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

Last time we had a donut day at work I used it to describe what we had.

I . . . I . . . I don't understand why you would tell people about the donuts? Then other people come and eat them!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

We had 8 dozen!

I got first crack at them though.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I would have had WAY more respect for them if they just said, hey, we don't do exhaust work -- we recommend such-and-such place for that. If they said that, I would have kept coming back for regular maintenance. But fuck them.

Exactly! That kind of honesty creates a customer for life, which I would think would be worth more than one job.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

vw! Such wonderful news! So much happiness to you both!

Tep, Car Talk generally recommends brownies. Hooray for less expensive fixes!

8 dozen does sound like a plethora of donuts.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Somehow, that plethora of donuts is turning into pleather donuts in my brain, which is not the same thing and ew.

Because books.

Great news, vw! Congratulations to both of you.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

VW! Amazing news! So good!

Plethora is a perfectly cromulent word. Fuck off.

Man, I feel like shit today. I can't work out what that means--morning off, work from home, day off, what. I'm so uncalibrated.

Congratulations, vw!

Right now, I'm looking for a good font for a Princess-Bride influenced SPN illustration in my typical scratchy attempting-realistic style.

ita !, are you looking for a title font or something that will need to be readable for more extensive text? For the former, I might suggest Fairydust: [link]

Congratulations, vw!! Fantastic news. Much happiness to you both.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The title's really long, Matt, but that's an intriguing font. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

I was also putting quotes from the story on each picture, but I think I'm yanking that.
