I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Although T Hard just standing around looks dirty. Or maybe that's just me.

Not just you.

Also, why is my corner of tumblr suddenly filled with Thor/Loki?

You're suddenly following the Infamous BlueJay's tumblr? That's where I get the Thor/Loki stuff.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, Scrappy!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oh, and please do not interrupt cute guys links with ~ma posts. I believe in multitasking and think it's quite possible to wish us well while still attending to the, um, task at hand.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I have no links to share, but happy to send ~ma to those in need of it.

And now, off to teach!

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Their ranch is one of the biggest in cattle ranching in the country, or part of it, and his family has owned most of Oklahoma since its statehood or something. So, it's not quite as romantic, and she's got a lot of help.

EXACTLY! $$$! A beautiful house and a gorgeous lodge! So depressing for those of us who are have nots.

Yeah, but she has to live in Oklahoma.

Hell is other people, come on you guys!

I got it! And I have never studied French or theatre, either.

I sometimes wish we owned a house, or could possibly at least think about buying a house. But I've come to realize that that's mostly because all the nicer houses around here are for sale rather than for rent, so if we want to live in a house but rent instead of own, our options are pretty limited. (I like the house we moved into well enough, but we'll probably have to move again in a couple of years, and I'm dreading it. Unless we move back East, but who knows when that will happen.)

ION, pregnancy hunger, I am SO READY FOR YOU today. Already eaten: first breakfast (oatmeal with peanut butter, tea with milk), second breakfast (cereal with sliced banana and almond milk), first lunch (a hefty serving of leftover mac&cheese with roasted brussel sprouts). Second lunch will be two hard-boiled eggs and an apple, and possibly string cheese if I need it. Afternoon snack could be either a Luna bar or Sun Chips, or both if necessary. That ought to just about get me to 5:30. Here's hoping!

So, pregnancy turns one into a hobbit?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh man, macaroni and cheese. If I could have my pregnancy metabolism back without having to have another baby? That would be so awesome. Science, work on that, k?
