I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

JZ,

don't tempt me. $75K might be just about all the equity I have in my house right now (she says without crying - mostly) so I am tempted to max out my credit cards and buy a house right now!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

After a while your brain adjusts so you don't feel tired anymore.

When does that happen? I've been tired for months.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Maybe I'm just cynical, but I see $75k and think "handyman special"

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I see "nothing in this town worth paying a premium for.".

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I see $75K and think "closet".

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I see $75K and see hope.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I see $75k and think "Fuck, I wish our house was worth that."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I see $75K and think "Good start on a downpayment".

Librarian Warlord

I see 75K and think someone forgot a zero.

We went into an open house last Sunday in our neighborhood for a bungalow listed at 750K that was completely gutted and re-done inside. Things looked nice but there were some seriously stupid design decisions made (like upstairs where there is a master bath [no bathtub] without a door [one of 2 bathrooms without a door - must be a thing for them] and so anyone in the other bedroom upstairs either has to use the master bath or go down a flight of stairs. It was more important to have a master bath than to have a bathroom available to everyone up there, really?)
