Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Because books.

It's amazing how much noise four large teenage boys can make walking (calmly!) up uncarpeted stairs.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

OMG, the new antagonist on 90210 is making me twitchy. I can't believe I give a fuck.

I remember four large teenaged boys! I loved bits of my early 30s.

Which is both more and less wrong than it might sound.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Emmett's like a little chaos generator that comes equipped with a stack of Marshall amps.

Just one of the reasons why he's so popular at little kid birthday parties.

Speaking of which, Matilda's party is this Saturday. I'm afraid we'll look a little shabby after Sena's birthday party which had an Actual Magician. OTOH, we have Emmett who is way more fun than any magician.

Guess who has two thumbs and is watching Luther 1.01? This girl!

Way to go, Jen's Thumbs!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

It's amazing how much noise four large teenage boys can make walking (calmly!) up uncarpeted stairs.

What's really amazing? That the human ear can endure such noises.

Also amazingly noisy? Four 8 year old girls (of no great size I might add) SCREAMING.

Because books.

Earlier, Sara was "playing" the viola and her friend was "playing" his recorder. At the same time.

Good times.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I feel ya, stair people. I'm staying next to a stairwell right now while on travel and it is SO FUCKING NOISY, and I'm usually easygoing about that stuff.

Damn, Daniel. Knock that infection out!

I can sometimes hear my next door neighbor going up and down his stairs. I'm sure he can hear me (our houses are mirrored.) But only if it is pretty quiet. Now there are 3 of them and a dog living there, and I haven't really noticed. Hell, I'm pretty sure Loki makes more noise going up and down than the 4 year old and the dog.

Well, fuck. I just found out there was a carjacking a couple blocks north on Monday night between 8 and 9. Victim wasn't harmed, just lost her keys and phone and CAR.

Some of my friends are freaking out. Me? I'm PISSED OFF. Do Not Bring That Shit Here.

Sent off an email to the Citizens on Patrol coordinator. Damn betcha.

Whoa, lightning storm!
