We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, who hasn't felt at least one pang of attraction to a sociopath? Stop lying to yourself.

Well, they were mostly fictional. Mostly. (and I guess so was Gus! Ba-dum-bum. Not that I had a pang of attraction, or really knew him at all. Just don't like it when people mess with my friends)

-t wins! Because of the bacon. No one else's post had bacon.

I had a frustrating morning, so I bought a maple bacon biscuit at the coffee place around the corner. It was pretty nom.

Compassionately intolerant

Snuggling with sociopaths? er, um, huh?

No. no. No snuggling with sociopaths, though everyone else's points are well taken about the charming and such.

Realizing that I was expressing a willingness to snuggle with a jerk, for the sake of snuggling, caused me to say outloud, "Wait a minute. No I'm not!"

So, I've got that going for me.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Bah. They held a vote on the holiday party and it's going to be somewhere I don't like. It's a place that does buffet lunches almost exclusively, so the food isn't very good (although you can eat as much as you like!) and it's loud and you have to stand in line a lot instead of chatting with your coworkers. Also, I don't think there's a bar.

The last two years we had a very nice lunch in a new place on the lake, in our own room, with excellent food. Now we're back to buffet-style and I am disgruntled.

Because books.

ita can have her bacon cups with strictly cheese. Perkins is ... going to be cupless. Unless you can do that with sausage.

Ugh. I really don't want to talk about food, it turns out.

Also, msbelle, insent.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I posted something like this on his wall when I friended him.

I am really tempted to reply with "I may be Goth, but I don't accept friend requests from people who fake their deaths online".

Tho' thank you, Buffistas, for reminding me what his last name was. I, um, get a lot of FB friend requests, and I didn't remember who he was right off the bat.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Mmm, bagels.

Cheese bacon egg cups achieved. I'm not thrilled with how they came out, I think making them in ramekins in the toaster oven was a tactical mistake. Real muffin tins and real oven next time.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

This KateP makes me so much happier than the "I feel too ooky to look at dry toast" KateP of a few weeks ago.

Agreed!!

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm not on FB, I didn't get the invite.

That said, I have no problem with discussion here. I think the whole thing is a 24-hour wonder. Tomorrow, we'll be on to something else.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I had a bagel with cream cheese this morning that was AMAZING. Possibly just because I was so hungry, but seriously, I want like five more bagel sandwiches now.

2nd trimester FTW!

Man, I remember so well that transition from sobbing uncontrollably because I thought I'd never be able to enjoy food again to EATING ALL THE THINGS. Good times, good times.

Sort of relatedly, Dylan has out of the blue begun asking all sorts of questions about where babies come from. He never showed the least bit of interest when I was pregnant, so I have no idea where this is coming from.

So far I've explained that Mommies have lots of eggs inside them and sometimes one can grow into a baby (sorry menfolk, your contribution to the process will wait until he's actually asking about sex). Then he asked if I was going to have any more babies and I told him that two was enough for me (because even though he's a big boy he will always be my baby, etc), at which point he got very concerned and asked "But Mommy, WHAT IF AERYN GROWS UP?!?!?!!!"
