How did Gus claiming to be from the Midwest fit into the warning flags? Not intending to defend Gus or otherwise start an argument. I'm just not sure how being from the Midwest is a warning flag.

I think Tom is talking about a more recent de-lurker - the midwest reference was a warning flag that we may have been dealing with another Gus sockpuppet.

I'm talking about someone who delurked a few weeks ago, who I thought may have been Gus. Being from the midwest was one of the details he provided. It wasn't being from the midwest specifically, it was that he provided so much of his backstory up front.
