I've never seen auction items go for a percentage-ish tjing. It's how interested you can get bidders. Momentum leads to monies.
Nice to see Sean Maher out vocally.
This could be the perfect food.
I want that in my mouth. And life. Basically, I want that.
I'm having a hard time paying attention to Castle while Stana Katic's skull is showing like that.
Oh crap, I forgot to watch Castle.
hivemind - stuff at a silent auction. What is your experience for what it goes for on average? 50% of stated value? more? less?
Gosh values seem so wildly varying to me. Certain things go way over value, others are absurdly underbid. I don't know. The one thing I've seen is that GCs tend to go for their face value or maybe a smidge over.
Start the items at 1/3 to 1/2 their value, and if there are no bids for a good long time, cut 'em down further. It's hard to predict, people will get crazy competitive on random stuff and other things you think will go for a lot... don't. IME. ...that may not have been the question you asked, but I hope it's helpful.
People, "Gus Raley" of TVTropes wants to be my friend on Facebook. If this is a joke by one of you all, WTF? And if this is real, seriously?

He wants to be my friend, too.
I got the same request. Not amused.
Same thing. I was thinking he was lurking, saw Suela's story, and wanted attention?
Suela's story, Sophia? What do you mean?
