Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My head feels like gimlet.

SNORT. I have been there, sister.

Water, ibu, food and a nap.

For Jilli - wish the teleporter worked: A local museum here has Bram Stoker's original research notes and outlines for Dracula and has a heap of events each October for Dracfest [link]

Ooooooh.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Allyson, did you ever ask your doctor about getting actual IBS meds?

How I feel after eating all the wrong food and drinking alcohol? I wish I had emailed him last week.

The first gimlet was delicious, though. The second was vodka with a piece of lime. When I bitched, the waitress just brought me a glass of lime syrup to add to it. Which makes me wonder, if I bitched about my prime rib being too rare, would she have just brought me a hibachi?

Invoking the FPC - my benefit year for unemployment ended this week. Today I get to jump through all the hoops online again to see if I am eligible for a new claim. I'm pretty sure I am, because I was working for seven months of the year, but still. Extra stress I didn't need.

Hope it all works out to your benefit, Jilli. And that it doesn't take too much time and effort to figure out. I hate that kind of thing.

Making coffee and sprinkled some cinnamon in with the grounds. Yum.

I am going to do laundry and hang up or put in drawers All The Clothes today. Bonus would be tidying office.

First, I'm going to go have more coffee, though.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have made it to TJs and am most of the way through ALL THE LAUNDRY. Next up should really be work, but I think I might be napping instead.

Trust my rage

We need a TJs national distribution plan like the VHS tapes in the old days. Because I am looking forward to all their Christmas candy, but require a trip to Albuquerque to do so.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Jesus Christ football is trying to kill me.

Our wings are not tired.

I hear ya, Dana. The Miami team's suckatude is truly epic.

Good result, ultimately, but they made me work for it.
