Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh Hec, I'm sorry about the shitty, and hope for less so.

ita, that's wonderful about the two WAH days! I'd have trouble increasing communication, too. I think I'd find an antique mimeo and do a weekly newsletter. Because I'm an ass. But I don't recommend you do that. I have no practical advice.

I picked the Patterdale first, then the American Pit. I would just like to say that I don't think any dog should have to endure the breed name "Black Mouth Cur". "Black Mouth Happy Dog" or "Black Mouth Loyal Hound", or even "Black Mouth Dog" would do. Why you gotta go calling inoffensive puppies curs, huh?

Also, I think more dogs should be called Catahoulas, 'cause--hey, pretty! And I bet a lot of them can say it!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I went back in time and picked the pit:

It took you -1316801213 seconds, and 1 attempt to find the Pit.

But then I do spend a lot of time at the dog park.

Aw shit, Hec. What a sucky day. I am having a sucky day at work, where I still am, but nothing to that extent. Yet.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hec, that totally sucks. What vintage is your Honda hybrid? My IMA is going as well (though two dealers have told me it's not, fuckos) and I think my starter is going. I have a 2004 Civic.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Egad, so hybrid batteries cost $3000? That's a big strike against them.

2003. The starter clutch problems are endemic to the the 2003 and 2004 Honda hybrids. The IMA is under warranty up to 150,000 for some of the batteries. You should take it to a Honda dealer to see if you're still covered.

Maria, great news!

Hec, sorry about the car. I hope you can find some way to manage it.

I picked the pit first try.

Catahoulas are pretty but apparently pretty difficult.

I am kinda fried. Long week. Came into the office this morning to learn that the managers made a hiring decision--they promoted into a senior position someone who has been seen to sleep at his desk. Also, he's less knowledgeable than several other people. Also, he didn't even make the list of qualified candidates on the first try. Also, he's not exactly a go-getter. Such a disappointment, and since my new boss is one of the folks who made the selection, I have had to downgrade my hopes for him.

After the last three days, I have to acknowledge that the organization I work for is severely messed up, organizationally. When good work gets done, it really does seem to be despite our best efforts. ::sigh::

And now I should lever myself off the couch and do laundry and so forth.

Ouch Consuela. Is your resume ready?

ita - I have been trying to kill time between now and SPN by cruising Provacateuse. Which has lead me to wish you had a weapons grouping. Oh, and there is a shot in Moneyball where Pitt is covering his face with one hand and that covers the whole screen. Want.

Enough of my shallow musings.

Because books.

Took me and S. doing it together four tries to pick the pit, and my first try was the Bull Terrier.

Consuela, I hope you can find something excellent as soon as you're ready. Your office sounds just awful.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Skipped ahead for a quick question: Do I watch Supernatural or Fringe live? I have no recording capability so I have to catch up on the web. What would you watch?
