Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Good lord, Kathy! How very exciting in-the-not-good-kind-of-exciting way. I'm so glad you still have a job.

Ugh, msbelle. I hate that. Respect other people's time and schedules.

In really good news, DH's full body scan came back, and NO CANCER IN THE MAJOR ORGANS! I'll take it.

And I wanted to say thank you again for last week. You picked me up again when I was low, and I appreciate it, even if I don't always say so in a timely fashion.

lisah, thank you so much. It's really nice to know that my reactions are not out of the ordinary. You have been more of a help already than you probably know.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

WOOT!

Scary, Kathy! I'm glad your job is safe though

And happy birthday, Emmett!

Happy belated birthday to smonster, and anyone else I missed. I keep forgetting that the wishes aren't telepathically inserted into the birthday person's head.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oh, Maria, that's great news.

He's not out of the woods yet, because melanoma is stubborn and oftentime recurring. He'll still have to go through nasty treatments, but the prognosis at Stage IIIA is much better than Stage IV.

He's taking the next week or two to weigh his options, and then go from there. It looks like he's going to stick with Hopkins.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

That's wonderful, Maria! I'd been thinking and praying about you and DH and wondering how soon you would know the findings. I'm five giddy steps beyond glad that it's good news.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

In really good news, DH's full body scan came back, and NO CANCER IN THE MAJOR ORGANS! I'll take it.

Well, that is a nice bit of fucking news after a slew of bad.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Good grief, Kathy! Glad you're still employed, but what a shock that must have been.

I'm having a bad mental health day. I know what's causing it, too. Everything else I need to do is not getting done because it's all backed up behind this top-priority thing that I can't deal with.
