If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.

Because books.

I recommend it, actually. Poor guy. He's now a combination of sheepish and ultra cranky that only he can pull off.

not your mom's socks.

So many things about this story are wrong like a wrong thing. It does, however, provide important insights into the ridiculousness that is Pennsylvania's beverage-regulation morass: [link]

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Oy. Trying to buy alcohol in PA is ridiculously complicated.

brillig

buying liquor in Pa

Wow, I think that's weirder than Utah. But then, we reserve the weirdness for granting liquor licenses to restaurants and bars. Consumers just get told "No" to buying anywhere other than the state liquor store.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

That Nilly baby is supremely happy. It makes me grin just to see him.

Today is Wear An Insect day, BTW.

I am saving my scarab earrings to wear tomorrow. They are blue.

And yes, the new Blue Beetle comic comes out tomorrow. My geek rolls DEEP.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Sue!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Poor Buffista parents. I feel I should call home and make sure mine are okay.

Ditto.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Steph, hand to dog, tomorrow was Wear A Superhero Day. I'm cheating because I already am, but I was good for tomorrow too.

Dana hands the prize over to you.

Because books.

Okay, talk me down for a minute? (Today has been Too Fraught already.)

Ben showed me this rash behind both ears the other day, and I kind of blew it off. Weird, but he has fair FAIR Irish skin (the kind that flushes easily, and burns), and his skin is super sensitive.

Today, the mostly flat rash is developing into small bumps (not zits, though, or hives, more under the skin), and the lymph node on his right side is swollen.

Dr. Google just SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME. Any parents with ideas?
