Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

Regime change in Canada! Time to invade!

sigh

This Saturday is our accepted students day so I have to be here dressed like a professional, and Sunday is supposed to start with wet snow. Pfft. Uninspiring!

hip deep in pie

It just means another silly election. We've had one every two years since 2004, all returning a Conservative minority. I would like to see the Conservatives be bounced out, but I am not certain it's going to happen.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

When do we do onerous tasks again? Soon I hope. I actually did a few this week but there are others looming.

Next Onerous Task Day: Tuesday, March 29, 2011

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I definitely think Aishwarya is more beautiful.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm going to go home and make rosé jello.

...Probably not really, but I do keep forgetting why my plan is to go to the supermarket tonight after work, as opposed to tomorrow. The reason is: wine and a movie.

I will say she seems to be one of the nicer women in Indian cinema.

I got into a habit in India of reading the paper every day, and because I don't understand much of the way politics and government work over there, parts of it could be hard to follow, but the entertainment section was pretty easy and enjoyable. But, man those women would tear each other apart.

There was also a show called Koffe with Karan that would have actors and actresses on, and the actresses would be really snotty about one another, but the one I saw with Aish and her husband Abhishek Bachchan, they were both very charming and had nothing bad or snotty to say about anyone.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

How do people who are not even at work today still manage to create so much drama? Gah. I think I may need to drink tonight.
