Apparently, the 3-4 set likes me. Though Dominic could actually fathom that I need to go back home, he did say he wished I could stay longer.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Because you've devoted your life to teaching and that was such a selfish, shitty thing to do.
Heh. That too.
Pix, I'm sorry. That really sucks.
I believe in paying taxes, I really, really do. I just wish we'd had the money to set aside all this year to compensate for most of ND's income being 1099. It's a lot easier to be responsible with money when your taxes all come out up front. It's such a deadly cycle; we're going to have to be on a payment plan to pay 2010, so we won't have enough to put aside for 2011, and so on and so on.
That's one of the things, I am really researching so I can try to be as on top of it as possible, because I foresee this being a PITA for me, hoping I can get this freelance writing/editing thing really working for me.
I am so sad about Sass. I don't know anyone besides Buffistas in DC; I wish I could help more.
That's odd, Consuela--I have Firefox4 on this computer (mac) and haven't had any troubles.
It's making me crazy.
I just sent the word about Sass to some more dog people. They have connections to lots of dog people
I just wish we'd had the money to set aside all this year to compensate for most of ND's income being 1099.
We literally just finished paying off the $14,000 we owed four years ago, before the DH knew how to manage taxes as a freelancer.
I'm glad you guys finally got out from under that, Scrappy.
I knew how to do it but couldn't this year due to a bunch of back taxes I had to pay off from the years before I took over the finances. It's no fun. I'm just worried that I won't be able to get on top of it when we're always paying off the year before now.
No it sure ain't.
Also, Erin, FWIW, I think she's being a manipulative shit.
ION, I'm looking through the Wikipedia article on the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum the 16th century text on the hierarchy of demons and had a real Sesame Street moment.
There are 69 demons in this hierarchy (ooh la la!) let's see if you can see what grabbed my eye as I got toward the end of the list.

Uhm, #61? That name strikes fear in the heart of no one. Though admittedly her name is legion.
Here's the description:
In demonology, Amy or Avnas is the 58th spirit, a President of Hell, and according to Johann Wier's Pseudomonarchia daemonum:
“Amy is a great president, and appeareth in a flame of fire, but having taken mans shape, he maketh one marvelous in astrologie, and in all the liberall sciences, he procureth excellent familiars, he bewraieth treasures preserved by spirits, he hath the governement of thirtie six legions, he is partlie of the order of angels, partlie of potestats, he hopeth after a thousand two hundreth yeares to returne to the seventh throne: which is not credible.
