Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Wondering how crazy it would be to combine a Lorazapam with a 5 Hour Energy shot. I'm trying so hard to not panic but I need to be ready for a 3-5 hour karate belt test.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I would do something like that, but sometimes I'm not smart.

That dress looks too big for the model.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Cashmere, I'm sorry you're going through this.

Yay Perkins!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

There were just more layoffs. Really good people. I'm going outside for a minute. The sad is so very sad.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh, layoffs. We're having them all the time, and it sucks.

In better news, Ellen has started back up for the season! And I just have to say, watching her have Chaz Bono on from the other day, I have to believe that's she's really making a difference in how people think about LGBT people and issues.

Because books.

Oh, Allyson. I'm sorry.

Suzi, YOU CAN DO IT! Just, you know, don't give yourself a heart attack doing it.

That dress does look shapeless on the model, sort of, but when you look like that who care?

What do people think of this dress? I want something fairly cheap, cute, and easy to pack for the book tour.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, I love it.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, Allyson.

I think that dress is quite cute, Amy.

Because books.

I may go with that one! It has to work for Colorado, Chicago, CA, and Seattle, so I think that'll do it. That cut usually looks halfway decent on me, too.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I told him to look for pumpkin, since there's supposed to be another shortage. And none! I wanted to start stocking up!

We try to keep some in the pantry because it's great for dogs who have gastrointestinal badness (both diarrhea and constipation -- it works for both). But then I cave and use it to make bread, and we have no Emergency Dog Pumpkin.

The bread is really good, though (made 2 loaves today).
