Ugh, Consuela. I hope he can find something quickly.
I had just started law school in DC in 1988, so I definitely heard about Deaf President Now.
I also definitely feel OMG SO old.
Happy last infusion day, Perkins!
Thank you! I may be slightly more excited about that than I was about yesterday's appointment.
Consuela, that's awful. I hope he can find something soon.
Best wishes for your brother, Consuela.
I graduated high school in 1980 and law school in 1988. So far, only Toddson is getting much sympathy from me.
(links canes with Fred Pete)
Is he in a situation where he'd get some sort of package?
They laid off 25% of the staff, and he'd been there less than 2 years. So I'm not sure what he's getting. So frustrating.
Anyone know what our career breakdown is? We have to more lawyers than anything else, even teachers. Or librarians!
I was going to refrain from noting that Toddson would have gone to college with my mother, if my mother hadn't dropped out in her junior year, before Toddson got there. But hey, I know a couple of '75ers - have we talked about this? You did archaeology, right? Did you know Naomi Norman?

Well, I meant what people are trained to do. But I definitely agree. Sadly.
I went to college on a radio scholarship. I was the first woman general manager of my college radio station.
I did not go into radio. But that's what I trained to do. I have pretty good pipes, but am rusty as hell at reading copy. I tried with Drew to do a recording of Vampire People, and he had to coach the hell out of me, bless him.
