Anya: It's lovely! I wish it was mine! Oh like you weren't all thinking the same thing. Giles: I'm fairly certain I wasn't.

Because books.

The tweety! You sound just like Craig Ferguson, msbelle.

Which makes me giggle for a lot of reasons.

Perkins YAY!!!!

I just got back from an hour at the dentist, cavity under an ill-fitting crown = crown removal, filling, temporary crown and a killer headache. Yuk Do Not Want!

Also, I have a real, live job interveiw tomorrow (Thanks to Erin's rocking my resume!) and I have to figure out what in the heck to wear. It's for a big insurance broker so I'm thinking pretty formal, but I hate wearing skirts, so maybe jewel tone/royal blue sweater set (with pearl buttons) and black pants? Or maybe I should go shopping for something new?

Oh but now I gotta go pick up the boy-child, he's outta school early today.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Woohoo, Perkins!

(did I slip by the cane-waving lady?)

My Coach bag came from ebay, and I keep trying to downsize to it. No luck so far. I hate, make that *hate* purse-shopping. And my mindset is less purse than haversack. What would I do without a book, notebook, occasional sketchbook and watercolors, bag of glasses-mending and grooming tools, shawl folded flat into a zip bag, water bottle, flashlight, pen case, makeup bag, sewing kit, OTC pain and sinus meds, floss, keys, phone...? Plus room for any and all small purchases, and the occasional laptop? So my bag is my companion, my resource. It's too big and too heavy, I know this. I should cull and downsize, but what goes? What do I keep?

'S too hard.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay, Perkins!!!eleven!!

I have a lot of purses, because I have this fantasy that I will become the kind of person who can move the things I gotta carry with me from purse to purse and co-ordinate all my accessories. None of them are really pricey, though

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Perkins, that's great!

Beverly, I completely understand. The whole point of carrying a bag around is to have with you what you want/need, so it's easy to get carried away. All of those things you listed sound perfectly reasonable to me!

Well, maybe it is time I tell you all............I am Craig Ferguson.

Have I told you my ideas for his shows? I think he should do a week of all Scottish guests. Then a week of all Fergusons. Then a week of all Craigs. They should hire me, right?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Yay Perkins!

The most I've ever spent on a purse was slightly over $100, but it was a specific design with loops for holding a folding parasol. I need to dig it out tonight and reinforce the stitches that are holding the skeleton hand on it.

I should go get my brows cleaned up. They're a good shape, there are just some strays that I could make someone else deal with.
