Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You ever get on a run of googling people you didn't particularly like? And it seems like they're doing really well? And if they're not, it's not in any way you could actually feel good about because it would make you a shitty person?

The passage of time sucks.

Thanks for the Gracie-support.

I am so sad about Sassafrass... she should be home. Poor noodle and poor owners of noodle.

I have to do a wholesale apartment search and purge of crap (to fit into a new apartment).

Oof, school district fun?

My forearms are so burnt. Chest, too, but that is normal. Guess the sunscreen in my lotion is expired. Or I sweated it off. Didn't affect the kids hardly at all. And they danced in the water fountains at the zoo! Thank god they have a jug of aloe in the house.

Grace trike riding is the best!

I am feeling grumpy being home on a Saturday night with no plans.

Go Shrift, with pants falling off your ass! I wish mine were...clearly what I SHOULD be doing with my "bored on Saturday night" self is going to the gym!

Yeah. We have to move districts before next school year. Things we need: 2 bedrooms, dog allowed, laundry in the apartment.

Path of least resistance is to stay here for one more year, but, I am just exhausted at the thought of another year of juggling Noah.

I hope you have as much luck as Polgara. It'll be a transition, that's for sure. You looking up the hill (I can't recall the name, but near Noah's daycare)?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

YOU GUYS. How come no one came to my house to force me to watch Luther until the end before now?

....Holy shitballs.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Go Gracie!

I found my desk this evening! There is actual, nicely finished wood there where those stacks of paper were. Someday I'll have to see what's under the other stacks of stuff.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

For some reason this makes me think of Klein bottles.

Aaand we're back to the kinky freaky maths.

I'm unbelievably jealous and possessive, and I don't manage my time well (which is not meant to be funny; sometimes I think the hardest thing about being poly is managing one's time so as to have adequate time for all partners).

That is the main thing I got out of Big Love. Season 1 is like one long time-and-motion study.
