Go Sparky!
If they're publishing it, how is their right to free speech being oppressed?
Because they'll be reluctant to publish "challenging" work in the future. That's the argument, anyway.
That this is a natural consequence of anyone saying anything in public (or publishing anything, same diff) just doesn't appear to sink in.
I don't rant about the pefidious Republicans (much) on my LJ because I don't really want to moderate a contentious political argument in the comments. That doesn't mean I'm being oppressed, it means I've calculated the cost-benefit analysis of saying the Republicans are poopyheads.
Oddly, we're both looking for dogs.
Okay, I have to go and take care of a cranky 2 year old. More details when I have them, but taping is Thursday in NYC.
Quick, someone go through my closet and tell me what to wear!
Damn, I missed the momentous news.
Also: watching the US Open men's finale. . . wow.
I missed the Sparky news!! Pout!
I missed the Sparky news, argh!
Quick, someone go through my closet and tell me what to wear!
Jewel-toned top?
You know who I didn't even think to ask for help? jengod. Isn't she still writing for e?
OK, well, I can sort of imagine the Sparky news, if not the specific show... the more exposure the better, so, yay.
Saving the Chinese food I just picked up for watching Eureka.
