Inara: So. Would you like to lecture me on the wickedness of my ways? Book: I brought you some supper, but if you'd prefer a lecture, I've a few very catchy ones prepped. Sin and hellfire... one has lepers.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Perkins, you know how little fun it will be to face hordes of humans at TJ and Target. Less lazy now equals less smelly pushy humans plus more lazy later.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

PERKINS!!!!!!

I made it to church really late, but I made it. Service was hard, but for no specific reason. Bless my Sunday School class for being a wonderful distraction and keeping me occupied for an hour. Now home and attacking the chore list. First up bathroom re-glazing, then yardwork, then laundry and living room clean-up while football watching.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm making pumpkin pancakes for a late brunch while Tim is at work. I plan to read a stack of comics while I devour the pancakes.

And I was going to post this silly status on FB, but I anticipated scornful replies from non-Buffista people on my friends list, about HOW can I talk about pancakes and comics on this day, of all days. Most of them have changed their profile pictures to the towers or firefighters or some other photo from that day. Which is their right, but, you know, I can eat pancakes AND remember 9/11. My lack of a commemorative profile picture and a patriotic status update does not mean I don't remember it. Shit, how can anyone avoid it?

So, pancakes and comics. I remain agog at the new Batgirl.

Mmm, pumpkin pancakes sound delicious!

I would like to go eat at the Farmer's Market, but this being the gayborhood, it doesn't start until 11AM. I suppose I could go eat somewhere else and THEN go to the farmer's market.

hip deep in pie

Lunch today was red lentil kofte on warm flatbread with tzatziki, tomato and cucumber (both from my garden.) YUM!

Speaking of cucmber, I thought I had four left to eat...I have seven! And still a few more on the vine. I guess every meal has to use cucumber and tomato.

Post your status, and if anyone gives you shit, tell them, "I'm sorry, but I didn't realize the terrorists won."

Bless G.T., that is absolutely perfect.
