The internet is a big place. Some people are standing too close.

Can I quote on facebook and twitter? If I do should I credit you by name? If yes, should I include the [space exclamation point]?

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

wincetinthebutt is worse, but I was a little disconcerted when Battlestar Galactica started following me. I must be following it on a list somewhere. We only have EJO in common and it's not like he and I are that tight. It was just curious.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Feel free to credit me with the exclamation point, Typo.

Trust my rage

I always wonder about those random and odd sounding twitter follows. I think wincestinthebutt might be the oddest, but it makes me wonder who chooses that as their name and then decides to follow random people.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

it makes me wonder who chooses that as their name and then decides to follow random people.

I was wondering that too, but then decided I didn't want to know.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

A lot of accounts seem to just follow anyone who mentions specific words.

I was in a conversation with someone on Twitter once about some TV show or other and havig been traumatized by a certain storyline and five minutes later a Crisis & Trauma Helpline was following me.

But then there are those people who just seem to push buttons on Twitter at random untilt they are following a bazillion people they don't actually know.

brillig

I'm on a music hunt, but it's a mainstream music hunt, so I'm doing this in the mainstream of the board rather than in Music.

There are two versions of Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight," and while I have and love the generally released version, I'd really like to find a copy that has more of the drums in it. My Google-fu has failed me, and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a link where I can buy it.

meara - Sep 10, 2011 6:33:25 pm PDT #25369 of 30001

Yeah, I hardly ever tweet, and mostly in response to other people, but I have random local businesses (ones I've never heard of, nor patronized) and travel people following me.

I am tired. This may have to do with doing a crap-ton of cleaning (ahead of the cleaning lady! My house is clean clean, ready for Tom and roomie!). Also having to do with the 3/4ths of a beer I've had. But if I go to sleep now, I will probably wake up at like, 2AM. But I'm not sure I have the oomph to call my friend who I talked about going out with and see what their plan is.
