An old Ford Crown Vic might work well. They should be really cheap and they're supposed to be pretty bulletproof.
Good idea.
Here in Chicago there's a dealership that sells used Crown Vic cop cars. Cop cars are even more "bulletproof"--they have heavy-duty suspensions, engines, transmission, etc.
However,
don't
buy any used taxi cab. I've heard the worst used cop car is still better than the best used taxi.
We were kinda worried. I am sorry/glad you have the cath. Sorry because needlesquick, glad because non-pokey, hopefully better service.
ita, echoing Erin here! I'm sorry the cath is bothering you now.
What the hell happened on the western seaboard? Someone replaced a faulty piece of equipment at an Arizona substation and 5 million people lost power? That's nuts. That's like a cartoon explanation - Homer Simpson bumps into a button and half the US loses power, hahaha, that can't really happen!
P.S., Ginger, I'm so glad to have your expertise and input on these power-plant questions, no joke.
It's sunny here, with BIG fluffy clouds. It's nice.
It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?
Did you ever hear about the Browns Ferry nuclear plant fire? Years ago, a worker was doing an inspection. Using a candle.
Awwww, brenda beat me to the Bluesmobile quote!
The dad of one of my college roommates was a Mt. Prospect cop, and one of his old cop cars was one of the Bluesmobiles in the movie.
Echoing this:
Much ~ma for those of you facing cancer, flood, fire, sick twins, hurt toes, bad shoulders and whatever else is besetting beloved Buffistae.
Today Facebook has had a little of everything... a birth, a death and a wedding. All involving my summer colleagues.
And for extra dork points: that was taken after the evening's live-action vampire role-playing game.
Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig hair! BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG!
Paul wants to look at Outbacks. Man, that's a pricy car.
