And good work, district, letting her off on a block with no sidewalks, both-sides parking, and a company with big trucks in and out of their parking lot (and usually blocking the street!) all the day.
Amy, the bus driver could have just let her out at a random location, saying "'Get off my bus. I have other things to do and I'm trying to get home.'" [link]
The school system says this person is no longer a bus driver. I don't know why she's still employed.
Oh my god, Ginger. What the fuck?
Dang. If I were one of the parents I'd be asking the principal if he/she would be firing the driver immediately, or if I'd have to bring the police into it and press child endangerment charges.

And in mememe news, I was just in a car crash on my way home from errand running. My totally-paid-off-for-10-months Civic is, IMO, completely totalled--I see no way that they'll consider this fixable for anything under the Blue Book value. Only good thing is that it was completely the other guy's fault (he turned right in front of and I couldn't stop or swerve to avoid him due to traffic). Guess I'll be spending my Saturday car shopping.
Damnit. I wanted to be car payment free for the next ten years.
Yikes, Kathy! I'm glad you're okay, but that SUCKS. I'm so sorry.

I've been getting white hairs for a couple years now. Teppy, they must be yours.
Did my post just get et? Anyway, Kathy I'm glad you're all right!
Yikes Kathy! That's awful! I hope all the insurance wrangling goes ok.
Kathy! I'm glad you're okay. Totally sucky to lose the car.
Yikes, Kathy! What they all said.
