Tallow is closer (it's just rendered shelf-stable suet), but goose fat sounds yummier anyway.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I have zero white or gray hair. Seriously. It's starting to freak me out slightly. Like, is there a wig in the attic going silver? WTF? My bro is almost entirely gray at 35 and I have NONE. Maybe he got it all.
I started going gray in high school. There is some seriously wonderful hair in the family, but in my generation I think only Sox's sister got it.
I'm going salt-and-pepper all over, but I like the way it looks when my hair is short better than its former dark appearance.

Totally! It's the only explanation I can think of.
Plus, literary.
One of my uncles and both his daughters started going gray in their twenties. My uncle now has white hair. My cousins dye theirs.
I do not have gray hair or very many wrinkles. Although I'm getting creases from my shoulders in a v along my chest. I don't remember when my parents started going gray but I have great genetics when it comes to wrinkles and aging. I can still pass for being my mid twenties.
There should be a word for when you do something that's totally awesome but also a really bad idea.
I'm sure the Germans have a word for it!
zuisa, are you a brunette trying for a brighter, more intense red? Try going to a Sally's and getting a hair dye aimed at African-American hair. I've been really pleased at the results on my white-bread, mousy brunette head.
And I am not appalled by the silver in my hair; I just like it to be red. I may say fuck it when I cam 70 or so, but my natural color is mouse, so...dye, baby, die.
What grays I can see when I'm rooty are my pat. grandma's lovely silvery silver, so that's cool. But I don't have enough, so if I went au natural now, I'd be silvery-mouse.
No, thanks.
Looking at what I have, the tallow doesn't look that appetizing, and elsewhere the cookbook says frozen butter is an acceptable substitute for suet, so I think I will go with frozen goose fat.
Thanks!
Ok, I'm not getting anything done now. Mainly laughing because someone over here has programmed her Oregon Trail family for three kids: Harry, Hermoine, and Ron. Eagle Expelliarmus!
