We are broke right now, so I just used the tubes of Frontline we had left. Hopefully, we'll break the cycle, but if not, I'll get Advantage in a month.

I wish I could ship this rain to Balstrop, TX. My aunt and uncle live 10 miles NW of Balstrop proper, so maybe 10-15 miles from the fires proper. Luckily for them, the fires are not heading their way at all. But they are dry-dry-dry. Their property is full of scrub oak, holly and cedar and it is all dying.
I just switched the pets away from frontline plus since we don't need the tick control here, and switching to cheaper Advantage led to the discovery that the nasty allergic reaction Seamus has been having every few months (and then held at bay by steroids) was from the freaking Frontline. Sigh. Happy to have solved that mystery, but I wish we'd figured that out a bit sooner. Our dog is on Sentinel (oral med) since it does fleas and worms.
So far, I haven't found a spot-on treatment that I'm not allergic to. I did a concerted effort of borax and diatomaceous earth and one round of flea bombs when I was going to be away for several days and gave him Capstar while he was away.
Ginger, have you tried Revolution? It's apparently the gentlest of the bunch. It's the only kind bunnies can use, my bunny-rescuing friend tells me.
I'm probably allergic to the damn fragrance.
I accidentally soaked my hand in Frontline this week. Thank God I didn't have a reaction, but it was scary there for a while.
Front room, entry and dining room salted/Boraxed.
Funny thing: I started off laying salt/borax on the thresholds and windowsills.
Then I realized I wasn't facing demon fleas in the SPNverse (OR AM I?!?!) and started to sprinkle it like baking soda on a carpet.
My salon doesn't expect to reopen until the weekend. Means they must've taken on some water.
They are bloodsuckers who might be repelled by garlic. Coincidence?
I found a slug in my kitchen this afternoon, I should totally salt my thresholds.
