Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Because books.

"fun" purchases have to be limited to like a total of $15 this month.

I know the feeling all too well. No worries!

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I almost never wear makeup and don't feel bad about it.

Before the wedding, I went to a local makeup store with a friend and tried out a bunch of stuff, and when I looked in the mirror I thought, "I don't look like myself at all." I looked pretty, I guess, just not like me. I think it was mostly the foundation and powder that freaked me out. My skin just looked plastic. So we tried a few different things and I found something I liked OK, but I still barely used any of it on the day of the wedding, and my lipstick had all worn off by the time we sat down for dinner. And I love the way I look in those pictures.

ION, I am so sick of eating peanut butter & crackers & bananas for lunch, but cannot figure out anything else that sounds appealing right now, at least nothing that can be procured easily. Blah.

Luckily, I live in a higher (maybe highest?) part of the city. However, I still suspect I have an appointment with the shopvac tonight. Just a damned lot of water.

Eesh, sara. I don't think we have any water left in the basement here, but the whole house feels damp.

Kate, what about crackers and mild cheese? A yogurt and a apple?

ION, Sgt. Pepper's is on Ovation right now, AISFG. Steven Martin just showed up and Donald Pleasance is wearing a toupee.

Amy, my lactose intolerance seems to have gotten worse since I got pregnant, though I've slowly been reintroducing cheese, with some success. So yogurt doesn't really appeal right now (though normally I love it and have no problems with it), but I do have an apple! Good call.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm at work. There was a battery short ON MY KEY REMOTE.

No big. Put new battery in. I remain cautiously optimistic.

I did cry hysterically when the car wouldn't start this morning. I'm so ashamed.
