I kissed him, and I told him that I loved him. And I killed him.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's great, Allyson.

OK, I am Not going to the beach, even though it looks bright out there, the forecast says clouds, and I guess I'd better do all the other stuff instead. I can pretend I would do All The Things, but it's not true.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

BTW, I found that photo of my grandpa, great-uncle Phil, and Aunt Dorothy I mentioned earlier.

I love that photo! So cool.

Did you know that there are people in the world who, when faced with a small piece of paper with the words, "Lost Dog/Please Help" will become outraged and call the police? And that the police, rather than telling the citizen to get some perspective, and, perhaps, a life, will make three phone calls and send a squad car out to tell the not-even-five-feet tall woman politely handing them out to stop harassing people?

WTF is wrong with people??

It is (finally) a lovely cool rainy day here in Nashville. Right now it's only 61 degrees outside! I'm so happy I could go put on a sweater. M and I are celebrating our one-year anniversary today by going out for brunch in a little bit, then selling some CDs at our favorite record store (and probably picking up a few more), and then, er, finishing up our thank-you cards for our wedding gifts. Hey, they're not technically overdue until tomorrow!

information libertarian

It's 58 in Oxford, OH! I am going to have to buy Dillo a coat this winter!

My great-grandfathers were William Kyle (Bill), Ormon Earle, Marcus Wilson, and Theodore Protas (commonly known as "Boy.") I only ever met the first, who was a gentleman.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Sparky, I saw the article in the Style section this morning.

Librarian Warlord

One of the national morning programs just called to ask for an interview. If the do it live tomorrow and I work in a reference to the Terriers DVDs can I have a toaster? I hate mine, but it won't die.

That would be so brilliant. "Really, I'm here for two reasons, Hoda...."

hip deep in pie

Sparky, people who call cops need to get a life.

My great-grandfathers were Prime and Prosper on my dad's side. And On my mom's side I think one was named Albert, and I don't know the other.

ETA: Whooo about National TV.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Cops just knocked on my door, asking if I was alright. Apparently a neighbor heard yelling. I explained that no, there was no yelling in here. No, I don't have the tv on. I have classical music on the radio and am alone in the apartment.

I do sometimes worry about the yelling matches that happen from time to time in the complex, but I come from people who don't do that, so I have no frame of reference to gauge "normal" domestics vs. cause for concern.
