Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I had a great skating class this morning. Nice way to start off the weekend!

I wish I could get skating lessons here, but the only rink we have doesn't offer them. It's such great exercise.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

You could take up fencing!

(eh, I gotta try)

Hee. I have seen a fencing studio over in my dad's area of town and I think about it every now and then. Makes me wonder if my dad's old foil is hanging around the house anymore. It would be pretty rusty though, it was when I used it for a Halloween costume in the 70s.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If I were a guy and a woman showed up on a date with those shoes, I'd bail so fast. Because vagina dentata is the natural next step. Or maybe the natural previous step. Either way, not a risk worth taking.

Tooth shoes are scary. Sentence I never really figured I'd need to write, but there you go.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I can't look at the shoes. Can't.

I made a iced vanilla latte this morning. SO. GOOD. Why haven't I been doing this all summer? I've had the damn vanilla syrup in the pantry since May.

I keep thinking about trying a homemade iced latte, but I feel like it won't taste as good as coffee shop ones. Maybe I'm wrong.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

The heels on those shoes bother me more than the teeth. At least the toes aren't squeezed in.

Not that I'd wear them, not with those heels. And teeth.

In not-really-related news, my supposedly formerly sprained ankle is hurting again. I'm not sure what I did to make that happen. Knowing my ankles, I probably looked at a curb wrong. I hope it clears up before my vacation starts at the end of the month.
