shrift, I'm impressed by the amount of walking you do!
In other news, when I actually sat down and DID the work, it didn't take that long. Work-wise, I think I am ready for vacation! (Other than actually taking the UPS things to the UPS store, but they're all packaged up and ready to go)
Of course, I haven't even started packing. Or figuring out what I want to wear while there that will both look good, and not make me pass out from heat.
Archive of Our Own Vorstigan fic has an amazingly high percentage of really high quality works. Archive of Our has a higher signal to noise ratio than a lot of fanfic collection, but the Bujold fic is on the high end of that curve.
Most of my issues revolve around the fact that I'm not Tina Fey.

My Mom was a little sad that I didn't want kids, but she got over it, and really got over it once my friends started having babies. It turns out that Mom wasn't that invested in the idea of grandchildren, she just liked babies.
My sister once asked when her kids were going to get cousins and I told her that one of the few benefits of no longer having parents was not having to deal with shit questions like that and she hasn't mentioned it since.
I really wish that people would embrace the notion that one's reproductive choices are one's own business.
My issues revolve around not being Jessica Fletcher or Miss Marple. Luckily, since my role models are older than I am, I still have a chance!

But 90% of what you've got is awesome!
I think most of my issues revolve around the fact that I really do want to be the Goth Mary Poppins, complete with the bigger-on-the-inside handbag and an umbrella that lets me fly.
