Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I don't really have a "bucket list", though there are some things I'd like to do.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Crap. Olivia just came in and asked me if I could "tell her the story of Jewish people--the WHOLE thing" tonight at bedtime.

I knew being an atheist was going to bite me in the ass someday.

Always Anti-fascist!

Allyson, I've been there. Actually, I still am. I think making a list would just make me sad, though. Because, hey, I (almost) died twice.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Crap. Olivia just came in and asked me if I could "tell her the story of Jewish people--the WHOLE thing" tonight at bedtime.

I wonder where she got that phrasing from.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'm pretty sure "the story of Jewish people--the WHOLE thing" would be a daunting bedtime story prospect for even the most ardent theist, Cash. As topics go, that one's not small, no matter which side you approach it from.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

"tell her the story of Jewish people--the WHOLE thing" tonight at bedtime.

You want I should call? I know the story of mah people. I'll leave out the perverted Woody Allen stuff.

Because books.

That's when I would say, "Let's go to the library/bookstore and find a book we can read together."

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

My best friend just had a baby last year at 38-almost-39, and is thinking about having another at 40. And my parents had me when they were 43. Which is not to say that you should feel one way or the other about it, it's a very personal decision, but there's some useless anecdata for you.

Of course, my mom had to go and get cancer and die at 61, which was no fun, but that could happen to anybody. My brother went and got a brain tumor and didn't make it to 60, so you know, my family, what's their problem?

So I'm going to enjoy the hell out of this $9.00 beer I'm drinking! It really is FG.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

the story of Jewish people--the WHOLE thing

Well ... one way or another, it's a way to deal with insomnia.

Coding and Sleeping

Em became an atheist (for now anyways) after she read the Bible. I've tried to avoid swaying her beliefs one way or another, but I'm sure some of it has rubbed off.
