Okay, sent. BAH.

I really enjoy this job, and I want to do it. Why are they making it so difficult? I couldn't even convince my boss it would be a good idea to redistribute some of her work, even though she's got a double workload and can't possibly get it all done.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just watched the video. Ugh. Even with the story from his point of view it's pretty clear that she was so not into it. The audience did turn during the story. There was still laughter, but it had a what-the-fuck-is-wrong-with-this-guy edge to it.

Calli (I think it was you who asked), I do not live in Michigan but I work there in the summer. This weekend I was hanging out in Kalkaska/Traverse City/Elk Rapids seeing a show and visiting friends.

I work with a program called RN First Assistant. I really wish I would stop typoing it as RN Fist Assistant.

Because books.

If it restores your faith in the menfolk at all, S. just changed a flat tire for a college girl (with an adorably buzzed head and cute Chucks) right outside. I gave him all the Good Guy points for the day.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

actually, the male comedians facilitating the event seemed to understand pretty quickly they were dealing with a pig.

I don't think the audience or the professional comedians' response was inappropriate at all. Some on Jezebel wished they had done more, but you don't go to an improv concert expecting a rape/harrowing sex tale. This was about the best they could do.

Who has a good recipe for peach cobbler? I have a lot of very tasty peaches that need to be made use of.

java, has he looked in Hoboken or Jersey City? The PATH is easy to use into the city, and he might get cheaper rates there. Also the Weehawken area of NJ. I think there's a ferry to and from the west side.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Dana posted a cobbler recipe a while back that looked good, and says you can use it for peaches: Dana "Natter 68: Bork Bork Bork" Aug 19, 2011 7:53:10 pm PDT

Our wings are not tired.

Thanks Amy! I've suggested those to him right now and he's looking into it.

Work is exploding all around me, but on the bright side, I'm about to buy plane tickets to Hawaii.
