Now tagless for your comfort.

Some of those poses are going to need to adapt depending on how your body is shaped.

Having nearly passed out from breathing recycled cleavage air, I'd have to agree.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'd like a "Yoga for Boobs" class. Some of those poses are going to need to adapt depending on how your body is shaped.

I have a yoga DVD and book for plus-sized people called MegaYoga. It (the book, mostly, but also the DVD) offers suggestions on how to modify poses that are generally taught as though people with excess flesh never perform them. For instance, use a yoga strap wrapped around the upper torso to keep the breasts in place for inverted poses. t edit There's some examples described here: [link]

It's really useful and was the first yoga DVD that made me actually feel like my body wasn't a hindrance to doing yoga right.

t edit again The book is apparently called MegaYoga (as is her sparse Web site), and the DVD is Just My Size Yoga. I think I thought they had the same name because they came packaged together when I got them. Anyway, good stuff.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Does MegaYoga work for plus sized guys? Cause boobs are not my problem, but that does not mean all the poses work for my size and shape.

I think the book has a lot of suggestions for modifications for bigger bellies, which is something I deal with, especially with floor poses like Child's Pose. It also has suggestions on how to "move the flesh" so that any excess flesh that might seem to be a hindrance can be dealt with. It's worth checking out.

Trust my rage

I have to be up in two hours and I have been awake for the last 1.5. Soo Frustrating!

I have been going to a Bikram studio regularly for the past month or so, which I generally love because it is filled with people of all shapes, sizes, and colors and very supportive. On the other hand, I do appreciate it when people don't move to get water in the middle of a pose but wait until we're done.

I still have no power (I am at work.) I brought all my needing-charge stuff in to charge it. Will be buying ice unless Sandra calls to let me know we have power.

I was very nice to the customer service lady for BGE that I talked to last night, but let her know that the poor communication from BGE was making things worse, not better, and the lack of visible workers, or ones who just drove through the hood and didn't know we had no power, well, that made us mad. Yes, I've been trolling for linemen. I see a truck, I WILL go interrogate them. My neighbors find this amusing.

Spent a couple hours at B&N, came home. A was home, we had cocktails on the deck. S came over to use my shower (she has a tankless water heater so no hot water) and then the mechanic called to tell me my car was ready. The original rotor finally crapped out. So $90 in parts cost a whole bunch more in labor. Picked up the car, went to half price margarita night.

Met a bunch of neighbors who I only knew by sight last night on McKewin. They know each other because they have dogs. So that was nice.

Well, damn. The husband of a family we knew from the park in Durham died the other week, of melanoma. Three little kids, ages 8, 6, and 3. He had a spot removed in 2000, and the risk of a recurrence after 5 years was 1%. It came back in 2006, and went to stage IV in 2008, and he managed to hang on for 3 more years, which is really incredible. The family was not really "my people" - WAY extroverted - but really good people. A nice writeup: [link]

Punishingly Intricate

My car is having close to $1000 worth of work done right now. Yay. Still, way less than a new car and I have power at home so I can't complain!
