Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I do believe the day will come when we look back and say, "Can you believe we used to treat cancer by giving people poison and hoping it killed the cancer before it killed the patient?" However, that day is not here, and just because it's an imperfect system does not mean that the answer is to turn yourself over to a Mexican clinic that prescribes juiced raw carrots and liver.

YES.

Besides, God made people smart enough to figure this all out and discover medicine and therapies so how could she say that going to therapy and taking anti depressants wasn't God's Will.

That's pretty much what I was going to say. erika, it's totally, "I sent you a plane, a boat, and a helicopter!"

Painted my fingernails for the first time in a long while. It started to chip pretty quickly.(should have expected that with cheap polish.) Have touched up the polish and added top coat. Hope that helps.

Always use a top coat! Relatedly, my boss laughed at my shiny shiny purple nails, so maybe it's a good think I didn't paint designs on them.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Right the fuck on, Allyson!

(I am sorry I have not responded to emails. Things are crazy. The GM communications contact is a good guy; I've worked with him before.)

I am so happy this is finally resolved.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Yay!!

Thrive to spite them

So I don't watch Big Brother but apparently some people really hate one contestant.

Enough to advocate that people call CPS and report that she abuses/molests her child; call and try to get her fired from her job; and some that say she should be raped and killed.

Most of it is on Facebook and people are posting using their Real Names.

[link]

and [link] are some examples.

I wish I could thank you and your peeps publicly. Is "Anonymous Behind the Scenes GM Employees Who Tried to Rescue Me Despite it Totes Not Being in Their Job Description" okay to thank?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

She was doing research on milk ducts as an early warning place for breast cancer detection,

They do ductal lavage to detect ductal breast cancer now, but only on very high risk women so far. Ninety-five percent of breast cancers are ductal carcinoma. Of course, I had to be different.

I've never understood the people who go on and on about how they prayed and god saved them from the hurricane or the tornado. If god is infinite and all-knowing, wouldn't it be much simpler for him to aim the hurricane out to sea? And what did he have against the toddler next door?
