If I'd had the money to spare, I would have paid you big to do that.

And, you know, I can help other people do it -- when I started staying with my sister, one of the first things I did was help her clean out her office -- but I hate doing it for myself!

Edited, because that's not how how paid is spelled. WTF?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Have we all seen the video of two Cleverbots having a conversation? If this isn't the best thing on the internet today, I don't know what is:

I'm good doing it for myself if I have time to do it right, and can actually *get it out of the house* on the same day. If I have to stash somewhere in between, it becomes more about moving clutter around.

I will throw out other people's stuff at will, though. If my FiL had let me loose in that house, we would have needed a dumpster. Probably twice.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I was watching a show ... "Buried Treasures" I think ... and a woman who WAS a hoarder was convinced to give up some of her things that really were treasures and made a nice profit. I'm not sure if the lesson is to give up stuff when the Keno twins say it's worth selling or to hang onto stuff because it might be valuable.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was reading a thing in Oprah or somewhere about cleaning and organizing your garage, and one of the big things I noticed was they did say to get a Dumpster. It makes a lot of sense!

Ha! Cleverbots talking to each other is hilarious. Couple of snippy, bossy boots, know-it-alls. Awesome.

Did the woman appreciate the profit, or was she bummed that the stuff was gone?

I think she appreciated the money - I missed the first part, where they discussed her situation, but her daughter gave the impression they needed the money.

And the Kenos were very considerate of her feelings - kept assuring her that they wouldn't take anything out without her OK and, after an appraisal, asked if she wanted to sell. So it was less distressing than if her daughter had gone in and removed stuff behind her back.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Because I know you're all dying of curiosity about the saga of my email with The Damned (hush, let me have my delusions): the booking agent replied that she is not the person handling press for this tour, the drummer is, and gave me his email address. I will be emailing him tomorrow, as today is full of errands and running around and OH MY GOD I HAVE THE EMAIL ADDRESS FOR THE DRUMMER OF THE DAMNED.

Drummer of the Damned ... sounds like a title of something - movie, book, Jilli's interview ....
