Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I really wasn't sure what to do to prove I've never been to Cedars (couldn't even tell you where it is, but Polgara went here for her gallstone). I offered to call them, and she just got "We just need to be sure you aren't overdosing." At no point did she say she believed me.

That's quite a hot button of mine. Thanks for the support.

I had stuff to do today. I have done fuck all of it. I've been so dozy I haven't even turned on the TV.

This is quite the birthday-rich block. Polgara and bon bon snuck birthdays in too. Huh. What was happening nine months ago? Christmas? Nah, too late. Turkey Day? Okay, now I've grossed myself out.

Because books.

As long as you got treatment in the end, ita.

Dana, I know he's supposed to be a very creepy creeper, so I'm going to watch until I ... I don't know. Can't take it. As for P.S. I Love You I'd really only want to watch his scenes again. The whole thing just got to be Too Much with her quirky emo.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Just made shortcakes and topped them with strawberries mixed with sugar and nutmeg. Yum.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Just made shortcakes and topped them with strawberries mixed with sugar and nutmeg. Yum.

Oooh, that sounds good.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I had a very rich brunch with family and now I want to sleep, but I really should do yardwork, laundry, and make a Good Will run. Time to get rid of the bread machine that has been sitting on my kitchen table for six weeks.

giraffe mode

We just got back from visiting some fostered greyhounds. The kids and I want to get another one, but the DH is being a PITA. I need the kids to gang up on him, and then maybe remind him that he bought 2 (not one but two!) motorcycles in the last 7 years against my wishes. We shall see

Art Crawl!!!

I am also appalled at ita's hospital. Completely ridiculous.

My cousin's wife (SE PA) posted that their electricity was out for a few hours until her husband went down to the basement and threw the circuit breaker - and voila! Electricity.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Jessica, it's still down tomorrow even though the hurrican will be over? Wow.

The MTA won't give an eta - they can't even START cleanup on the subways until the storm is completely over, and there are a lot of downed trees and flooded stations. If the express buses are running tomorrow morning, I can go that way instead, but right now there's only very limited local bus service.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Holy crap, Jess! Up here they are saying the MBTA should be mostly normal in the morning.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

A&E is having a Criminal Minds marathon, and it occurs to me that as much as I love most of the eps they are showing (I can't not watch Minimal Loss), I can't watch the James Van der Beek episodes. Too much Reid woobie.
