Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

K-Bug was totally spoiled with her American Girl doll - Samantha. They don't make her anymore. My mom would hand her the catalog and tell her to mark what she wanted. While mom didn't buy it all, I swear she tried her best. K-Bug even has a wheelchair for her, I don't recall why, but she does.

In books, at least, they're always talking about riding the storm out at sea, the big advantage being that there's nothing to smash into.

Because books.

With ships that big, too, it's a little different. It's not like taking the yacht out for a spin.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm assuming the object is to take them out past the range of the storm, but still, just the thought is nerve-wracking.

Away from the docks, too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My friend Rich?!

My friend Rich. I've had a friend Rich since before you were born, and I think your friend Rich would be...startled, to say the least at such behaviour.

Our wings are not tired

I've been on cruise ships during severe storms and hurricane season. They are actually a grat place to be since they can steer around the storms. The storms typically aren't traveling fast enough to outrun the ships.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

That's good, thanks for the reassurance!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Kat, you can get a "wellness" visit for Grace's AG doll for $24 plus shipping. They'll clean her up, brush her hair, etc.

We were lucky and won this doll in a raffle, so I didn't have to pay an exorbitant amount for the doll or accessories. And I have a policy that dolls are for playing--so she doesn't have to treat her like an heirloom. They are good quality dolls and can take a lot of play.

I love bananas and wish I had one right now.

So I bopped up to the CIO and got the exemption permission to get my calendar on my tablet. I hope I don't regret this.

On the way to the Y this morning, there were signs with arrows that said SET. I kept thinking, "What does SET stand for?" We get to the Y, and the windows to the pool were covered with black plastic. The main door had a sign that said "Crew not allowed in this area."

They're filming The Vampire Diaries there. If I were a swimmer, I'd be pissed, but I'm just hoping that the perpetually strapped Y got a chunk of cash for it.
