Xander: I do have Spaghetti-os. Set 'em on top of the dryer and you're a fluff cycle away from lukewarm goodness. Riley: I, uh, had dryer-food for lunch.

What Cash said. Battery backup. In industrial (work) situations, provides a stopgap until the generators kick in. At home? Buys you time.

So a black bear wandered through my aunt and uncle's (uncle of the motorcycle fame) property. This was taken by the neighbors, yard and cars are my relatives'. Sue mentioned is my aunt. [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am getting tips from the lesbian ex of my childhood male friend. Not sure if that trick would work across gender. Doesn't mean I shouldn't try, though.

I want to take Rich, dress in something scandalous, and try and pick up an entire bar. Where would be a good bar for that?

Amy, a UPS is an uninterruptible power source. Basically it;s a big battery you plug yout computers in so they don't come slamming down when power is lost.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Because books.

A UPS sounds like a good thing to have.

He was surprisingly nimble! I always expect more ... lumbering.

Well no, it might not. Plus Pride is sorta a special circumstance. The time I referred to was at Decadence, which is basically Pride-Esque.

That's fantastic, Maria, and what a sign of respect from your company. That alone ought to impress the hell out of the other company. Fingers crossed.

Music/podcast transfer successful! No playlists, but that's OK, because my playlists were kind of random and crappy. It'll be sort of fun to make new and improved ones.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Maria, I am hoping it all works for you!

Ugh Kat, can I call you and consult with you at some point this weekend? We just got a call from Community Magnet and now I need to make some decisions. I'd love your clear-eyed assessment.

Sure. I don't know that much about Community Magnet, but I can figure it out.

Grace had her first soccer thingy today. There were popsicles, which she liked a lot. She also wanted to drink a huge cup of water, which is good too, but I then had problems feeding her which is bad.

I cannot believe I had to get Grace's nurse to deal with the dying rat. Not in his job description, but also not in mine.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

(ETA: I mean, I am someone who has had a stranger say "You're cute!" and me respond "So are you!" and get asked "Wanna make out?" and done it...)

That actually happens?? Why doesn't this happen to me?
