It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

The good news is, I made it onto a jury, so I still have to do my unpaid civic duty, instead of doing my unpaid lying around eating candy all day duty.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It sounds like the shutdown is coming down to banning federal funds to planned parenthood and preventing EPA regulation of greenhouse gases.

Really? REALLY?!? That fills me with rage. I am so damn sick of the hateful attitude of elected Repubs. I mean really? Is it so damn awful if some woman gets a partially government-funded pap smear? So bad that it's better to just shut down the government?

Oh, I'm right there with you. I'm so inarticulate with rage that all I can do is insult Boehner.

Planned Parenthod, thanks to the Hyde Amendment, already cannot use federal funds for abortions. So abortions aren't even the issue here. What the pigfucking GOP is saying is that if women can't afford health care, then they don't deserve health care. Birth control, family planning, cancer screenings. They're not even trying to hide how much they hate women anymore.

I would say it's unbelievable, but sadly, it's totally believable.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Totally fucking believable.

Awesome, bon.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oh! Guess who got a jury summons yesterday!

I hate this budget mess. I pretty much hate everything about politics right now.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I hate everything about everything.

And I just need to say, not all people who are Republicans hate women. Honestly.

All right, I'm going back to bed. Maybe this time I won't nightmare out of it.

I know. I just get so ragey about the effects of the policies being put in place by people who are Republicans that I tar them all with the same brush.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

That whole campaign may be worth it for the picture of Heidi Klum and Seal nakey, however. I mean, damn.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

instead of doing my unpaid lying around eating candy all day duty.

Wait...you'd be doing what, otherwise?

I have so much to learn this week. It's massive. Oh, man. I don't know if I remember how to learn.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Didn't get to speak up on gifting in time, before Good Riddance closed, but I'm ungifted. I'm guessing I'm not meant to be, since my santee wasn't a slacker, and I'm wondering if my gifter got anything sent back to them. If so, perhaps they (or ita) drop me a line at profile addy. I heard it was on its way a while ago, and I feel bad for the gifter if it didn't arrive.
