You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

Allyson, have you written to the Consumerist?

Yup, she did that yesterday.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, that site is tough to navigate, but the article is good. And it says they called, too, so GM should start hearing stuff, because that type of thing spreads. Make sure you have your documentation, Allyson, I'm thinking you're going to need it.

I clicked on the "car news" icon at the top, then Allyson's story was on top of the middle small column.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have decided to sneak exercise in my life. I'm going to try using the stairs going down at work from now on.

Problem is, I've assiduously avoided exercise for the past three or so years. Those ten flights of stairs feel perfectly effortless while I do them, but they make my legs wobbly when I'm done.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I made it to karate and had a good work out. Also got to squick a few people by sharing last night's adventure. We are headed off to talk with his pediatrician in a bit.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I went to tweet the article and the news that there's still no news, and twitter is over capacity. I blame us. I'm going to use the hashtag #throwawaychevy on the premise that it's slightly but not offensively negative sounding, and it's easier to spell than disposable.

Okay, this troubles me:

bi·month·ly/bīˈmənTHlē/
Adjective: Occurring or produced twice a month or every two months.
Adverb: Twice a month or every two months.

Why does it mean both? That's stupid.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

How did you find that, Ginger?

I couldn't find it by normal means, so I went to their Facebook page and found the link. The site is impossible.
