Font geeks, can anyone tell me off the top of their head what the title font on the page is? [link]
Also, can anyone explain to me why photoshop got so complicated? I want to do some really simple stuff that I could have done in 1995, and it's so freaking complex!

Soldiers are essential, but won't get paid until the shutdown is over. Since this Friday is the halfway point in the pay period, they'll get a paycheck for one week instead of two. It's going to screw up the financial lives of a lot of enlisted soldiers. They're already paycheck to paycheck in the best of times.
I have to admit that the system is kind of fubar.

Depends on the fonts you have installed on your machine, but:
font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, "Nimbus Sans L", sans-serif;
In other words, your browser looks for Helvetica Neue first (which is well-known but not universal), then falls back to Arial, and so on down the list.
I'm only vaguely afraid anymore of my tendency to play spot the wordpress theme and then go straight to the css for that theme.

And yet, even with the Fubar, Medicare works better than most private insurance. Government contracting with all of its screwups manages to get roads built. Having done contract programming in both the private and public sector, I would say both are fubared in their own way.

Yeah. When I was in consulting, the worst jobs were always the ones with private companies involved, because they didn't understand the process and had utterly ridiculous deadlines.

I just sifted through the papers in my folder, and somehow I shoved a fanart draft in there by mistake when I packed this morning.
It could have been worse. There could have been more nudity, and I could have discovered it with other people around. But...still. I need to be carefuller.
