The horses were from another group of volunteers, not ARP. But yeah, as soon as he mentioned horses, I knew that was a bad idea and I wasn't any where near the mountain.
Natter 68: Bork Bork Bork
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
And the guy who had his legs broken -- god. That's really unfortunate. I'm not going to think about the horses.
Yeah, Thor/Steve is pretty irresistible.
Mmm hmm. Someone has her sassy pants coat on this morning.
Is he going to make it to school today?
Suzi, glad CJ's home and well (if dirty). Sorry about the broken legs, but glad they got the guy home all right (sorry about the horse).
Caves are nothing to fool around with, see Floyd Collins.
And I'm back in all my cheesy cheesy glory!
Continuing saga: GM doesn't have an ETA on the part. They will get back to me on Wednesday, "hopefully with more information."
Maria, do you think it's time for me to take the fight to Twitter? I know lots of peeps.
Coat is bought. I staunchly avoided buying anything else on the site. It was quite a battle.
I'm skipping a bazillion posts, so forgive me if this has already been posted...
Remember my post on the Map of Hell? The same guy now shows us what we get in Heaven's Welcome Basket: [link]
I especially love the bottom right one. So I've now decided I want to get to heaven after all....
I was with a friend in Brazil who broke his leg in the middle of the jungle, hours from a hospital with an X ray and even farther from a real ambulance. His leg healed eventually, but all the jostling to get him to a hospital qualified to treat him meant that the break was no longer neat and it took months for him to heal.
They finally had to put a rod in his lower leg bones and basically push on his shoulders to push the bone far enough into his femur to start it healing again.
Ouch.
