And you're sure this isn't just some fanboy thing? 'Cause I've fought more than a couple pimply, overweight vamps that called themselves Lestat.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That is a lot of hummingbirds. I have that feeder, incidentally, but only see one bird at a time.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

He has "grown up" so much since he joined ARP. I'm so glad we found it. They are completely run on a volunteer basis and all expenses are paid through donations/fund raising. So if anyone has any extra cash hanging about and would like a good cause, let me know.

Right now, though, I wish the team would get back.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My mother now has a FB profile. It says she's "interested in men and women". I have to balance the mummyness against the myfamilyness, that means it's more likely not getting how the things work, versus her thinking it's an appropriate way to announce she's bisexual at 70.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ha!

Go, Maria!

Mac, get it together, kid.

Wow, CJ -- that's got to be such hard work.

And those ads were so silly and cute!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Yay, Maria!

Welcome, Darth Cheesecake.

I've spend the weekend watching Donald Strachey mysteries. They have some nifty noir nods sprinkled throughout.

Oh dear.

Good luck, Maria!

I need a hummingbird feeder.

Hopefully he got it all out of system and the first day of school will go smoothly tomorrow.

Probably the obnoxious today is related. My neighbors' have taken to timing their annual trip to the Outer Banks to end the day before school starts to ratchet down the first day of school drama, cause their eldest does have anxiety about it.

Got my swim in, yay! And it was a good one. I'd felt so futless all day. It's become one of those things where, no matter what else I accomplish during they day, I feel listless and unproductive without.

CJ's doing good work. And S&R work would definitely mature a kid. The volunteer groups in my parents' area are vital parts of the community, they provide coverage where there would otherwise be none.

How did you do this? Netflix streaming has only one?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm super excited about my hummingbird feeder being back out. But it has fighters, not cooperators, so there's maybe two on there at a time, with desperate aerial battles going on overhead. The SO was in the kennel (the feeder is hung on the kennel fence) today clearing the summer's brush from it, and they kept strafing him.

My first guest was a female Scott's oriole, so I put my makeshift oriole feeder back out, but if she's returned, I haven't seen her.

After going to the one-year memorial service for my former student who died hiking in Oklahoma, necessitating a three day search and recovery, I deeply appreciate the work CJ and his compatriots are doing.

Weird. Dozey. All freaking day. I thought I'd have a whole weekend for a change, since I wasn't going into the ER, but apparently I'm not destined to be conscious on Sundays.

How are you?
