I'm looking at places to stay in Santa Barbara. I think this hotel needs to hire a new web designer

Tom, I loved the place I stayed in Santa Barbara. You can see it at the bottom of this post on SB: [link] The Boys stayed at the Canary, which was fabulous, but was very pricey last minute. When I was staying at the lighthouse in Oregon I met a couple who told me about a haunted cottage at a great inn in SB but I can't remember the name for the life of me.

Speaking of cheesecake, there is a middle eastern restaurant near my house that has a dessert that's a sort of baklava/cheesecake hybrid.

...tell me more! Or wait, maybe you shouldn't. Because then I'll want it, and since it isn't here, won't be able to have it...oh, the horror!
