I'm looking at places to stay in Santa Barbara. I think this hotel needs to hire a new web designer
I love placeholder text screwups! Well, I love them now that I'm no longer working in print and can fix the XML immediately.
Tom, I loved the place I stayed in Santa Barbara. You can see it at the bottom of this post on SB: [link] The Boys stayed at the Canary, which was fabulous, but was very pricey last minute. When I was staying at the lighthouse in Oregon I met a couple who told me about a haunted cottage at a great inn in SB but I can't remember the name for the life of me.
There've been storms since before 8. There was a brief window without, but not enough. And then there was hail. Sigh.
Starting the interview~ma now, Maria, will keep it rolling through the scheduled call. Good luck!
I'm off to be social, possibly followed by grocery shopping. Whee!
Speaking of cheesecake, there is a middle eastern restaurant near my house that has a dessert that's a sort of baklava/cheesecake hybrid.
...tell me more! Or wait, maybe you shouldn't. Because then I'll want it, and since it isn't here, won't be able to have it...oh, the horror!

That, uh, sounds like something I need to have in my life.
Interview~ma Maria!
Welcome Darth Cheesecake! May the forks be with you.
- (I can't believe no one got there before me)
I lurked the board ages ago and then my cousin brought me back to it just before a big move. Saved my sanity (well, most of it). Also, people here are pretty shiny.
Smonster - I'm not on your flist for flickr! wah.
Holy crap it just got pitch dark and thundery here. We got an 8mi bike ride in before noon. Glad we didn't wait.
Good luck, Maria!
