I don't like vampires, I'm gonna take a stand and say they're not good.-Xander

Grooms nearest monkey...?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Monkey grooming is engaging in social niceties to make the board flow smoothly.

Ah I see. That actually makes a lot of sense now that I think about it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey, just to completely change the subject, I just got back from a trip to TJs, where they had a lot of new stuff.

Does anyone want to try their chili mango frozen fruit bar things and tell me if they are good or if they are nasty? I decided I wasn't quite brave enough.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well said, Liese. Thanks.

ION, for the first time in my life, I threw some white pants into a load of laundry with other colors and they came out pink! Now I have them soaking with bleach in the bathroom sink, which is actually a two-fer: cleaning the sink, too!

That concrete cutting from last night? Woke me up this morning. But today there is caution tape around the area and a couple of construction vehicles. Glad I'm leaving the house soon.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The weremonkey reference is because Gus/Eddie/Whoever once claimed to have been bitten by a monkey while visiting his son in Africa, and to have gotten some sort of sickness from that, so we started calling him a weremonkey.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

You mean while "visiting" his "son" in "Africa."

Wait, Africa's a real place, right?

Compassionately intolerant

Yes, yes, and we worked on tvtropes a bunch and then the founder of tvtropes committed pseduicide here and we grieved only it turns out he's still around and giving interviews about having the idea for it here except under another name that never existed here and therefore there's still some bad blood between here and there.

I love Liese too. I appreciate the shorthand that will, hopefully, avoid a long discussion. Blergh. I saw 'tvtropes' and actually pushed my chair back from the computer in an 'oh no' gesture. ::twitchity::

Welcome Darth Cheesecake. I came here through Firefly fans net. We come from far and wide.

Just last night, I had a dream in which I described coming to the board seven and a half years ago. The me in the dream was shocked. I don't know that I've ever stuck with anything non-survival based for so long.

Then again, my sanity has been saved here more than once, so perhaps it fits in the first category after all.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

We will! (Uh, I guess we need to book a hotel soon, don't we?) We'll get in sometime Saturday afternoon and hang around probably until Monday morning. And I am all in favor of the Meet At Graeter's plan!

By the way, I don't think there's a time-zone difference between Louisville and Cincy. Unless it started in the last few months. (You didn't say that here, but I thought you mentioned it in an e-mail and I forgot to reply to it.)

Yay people in Cinci! Odds are I will be there either in Dec or over next summer, so yay for visitable buffistas!

Woo!

Oh, hey, I will be in Cincinnati too! But in March, I think. F2fs work better if we can all be there at the same time, le sigh.

Woo again!
