Well, look at you. All dressed up in big sister's clothes.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm looking at places to stay in Santa Barbara. I think this hotel needs to hire a new web designer: [link]

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Tom, it could also be because they haven't paid the web designer, but also didn't change their passwords.

Or else, they just don't care, which pretty much tells you all you need to know about the place.

Trust my rage

Is there some sort of pill identification website? I just found a little yellow pill with a black L on it on my floor, which is a little freaky since no one in this house takes medication regularly (eta: which turns out to be aspirin - ooo, scary!)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's pretty funny, Tom. Although I wouldn't draw a straight line between someone's ability to have a good website and their ability to have a good hotel. BTW, I stayed here and liked it.

Heh, Stephanie. It still seems weird to have a pill you don't recognize in your home....

brillig

There's a whole section called Pill Identifier at Drugs.com. Very handy when Hubby drops his drug box and we're playing Heart, Pain, or Other roulette.

Now tagless for your comfort.

AARP also has a searchable database of pills based on imprint, color and shape.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Was someone taking aspirin? That is weird.

I just cut and dyed my hair. And my hair is now the color of my hair. It is a little more even, because I had blonde streaks around my ears cause by my addiction to putting peroxide in my ears. But I thought it would make it more medium over- all (since it was light brown) but instead I have my normal dark brown hair.

I think it is a good first step, though, as I want to start dying more often and more colors, but I don't want to talk about it at work with everyone and have the same inane conversation that starts with "You dyed your hair!" Maybe I can work my way to black for the winter.

I need to color my hair something fierce. My stylist did a great job with the last color but it's grown out and faded and the gray is really starting to show. I'll go back to purple once our roller derby season starts in the spring.

I have to do laundry. But my productivity of this early morning plus the hair dye has given me a headache. I am meeting my BFF at 1pm and she is going to help me do my class planning for this year since she is an actual teacher. An elementary school teacher, but I sort of feel that theatre students and elementary students have a lot of similarities.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Oh, and Pete's signature on a card makes common cards more valuable, BTW.

Hmmm. I have some cards Pete signed, but I don't want to give them up. (Also, I'm not 100% sure of where they are now that I live with Tim. I can't remember where I packed them for the move.)

Still vacationing, but I took this picture of Grace's new t-shirt for ita and Steph: [link]

Cutiehead! BATcutiehead!

My portable air conditioner is brilliant. It's rough asking it to cool two rooms but it is still working on it.

I am not making this up: we went yesterday to the campground in Indiana where Tim's brother and his family are camping, and one of Tim's nephews took advantage of the electric hookup at the site to put a portable a/c AND a mini-fridge in his tent. I think the rest of the brood had oscillating fans in their tents.

I *still* wouldn't camp, not even with a portable a/c. (I asked Nephew where the satellite dish and flatscreen TV were. "What?!?" he asked. "Why would I do THAT? We're CAMPING." So he has *some* standards.)

I rode a bike for the first time in...I don't even know how long. Years and more years. I have no idea why I don't own a bike! It was totally fun!

I think we are finally going to see Captain America this afternoon. We are SO far behind in our movie-watching. Then I am going to attempt to bake GF cinnamon rolls tonight. (That's right; I live on the edge.)
